KENDRICK LAMAR RELEASES NEW SONG “WAR IS MY LOVE” INSPIRED BY UBISOFT’S GHOST RECON: FUTURE SOLDIER VIDEO GAME
SAN FRANCISCO – May 21, 2012 – Today, Ubisoft® in conjunction with Top Dawg Entertainment / Aftermath/ Interscope recording artist , Kendrick Lamar, released his new song, “War Is My Love.” Inspired by Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier video game, in stores May 22nd for the Xbox 360® and PlayStation®3, the song features production by Sounwave.
“When I recorded ‘War Is My Love,’ I did my best to put myself in the shoes of the Ghosts from the video game and capture that feeling of being willing to wage war and do whatever it takes to claim victory,” said Kendrick Lamar. “And when I started really getting into the game, I thought it actually matched perfectly.”
